The vehicle itself is an original 1935 Studebaker steel body on the original frame with the addition of a Fat Man Engineering Mustang II front cross member. The front and rear suspension both consist of adjustable shocks from Air Ride Technologies with controls for all four corners which means you can give the car a real mean stance and the touch of a button. Speaking of stance, this Stude sits on top of polished aluminum “Frisco” style wheels from Colorado Custom Wheels. The attention to detail of these wheels is highlighted by the staggered front/rear sizes and air valves which sit flush with the inside surface and behind the spoke for a real show car touch. The generous spacing between the wheel spokes give the observer a front row seat to the Wilwood billet style Dynalite polished aluminum calipers and steel disc rotors at all four corners. Open the power pneumatic hood and you find the heart of this Dictator: a stout and loud 5.7 Camaro LT-1 V8 paired with a 4L60E 4 speed automatic. The engine has been cleaned, painted and features fiberglass intake cover, custom painted valve covers, stainless braided fluid lines and all polished pulleys. The interior has been fully insulated and all dash controls are concealed behind painted panels for a clean look. The seats are upholstered in a Sahara color Schmidt American leather and is accented beautifully by a Bentley sourced Ruby carpet. At the helm you’ll find a GM tilt steering column featuring cruise control and a Colorado Custom steering wheel that is cut to match the wheels. Stepping back outside the vehicle you notice fine touches like the Packard headlight cans and body flush indicator/brake lights. The paint is what really gives the car its presence with a Glasurit 55 base coat/clear coat in a two tone Maroon and Black.
