Chevrolet C10 1969

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to represent this wildly original 1969 Chevrolet C-10 Long Wheel Base Pickup Truck! The second-generation C/K was introduced for the 1967 model year. Designated the “Action Line” generation by General Motors, the C/K largely carried over its drop-center ladder frame and its coil-sprung rear axle, but the body was redesigned from the ground up to improve its capability as a multi-purpose vehicle. Alongside a utilitarian vehicle intended for work or farm use, the C/K was also offered with optional features carried over from Chevrolet sedans, including automatic transmissions, AM/FM radio, carpet, and two-tone paint. While the Action Line would not undergo a definitive model revision through its production, the series underwent gradual changes on a biannual basis. The drivetrain line underwent multiple revisions, as a large-block V8 was offered for the first time in 1968. After 1969, GM switched entirely to Chevrolet-produced engines for C/K pickup trucks.

This particular 1969 C-10 has been in the same family since new, and has been lightly used through the years. The consignor states the mileage to be original, but without documentation, it is hard to tell. This ’69 is finished is what is believed to be the factory original Turquoise paint over matching vinyl interior. Power is sent to the rear wheels a factory optioned 396ci V8 and sent to the rear wheels by a column shift, automatic transmission. Options include Power Steering, Power Brakes, Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio, and Aluminum Wheels. This is an extremely original and untouched example of a rather rare 396ci V8 optioned 1969 C-10 LWB truck.
