Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is proud to present this 1957 Chevrolet 210 Restomod. You know a Tri-Five by its miles of chrome and stainless trim, and thankfully all is present on this pillared coupe. It includes the wide grille and bumper package that are the icons of the 1950s, the rocket trim on the hood that signified the jet age, and the full-length body trim including the tailfins. Under the expansive hood is a bright Blueprint 383CID Stroker V-8 mated to a smooth shifting TH400 3-speed automatic transmission with a B&M shifter that’s sending power through an 8.8″ rear end with 3.73 gears making this a classic for local or long-distance cruising. The motor has been shown some love in the form of ceramic coated, block hugger long-tube headers with dual exhaust, dual 4-barrel Edelbrock carburetors with 125GPH electric fuel pump, massive aluminum BeCool radiators with dual electric fans and a Street Fire MSD ignition. The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in two-tone black and yellow leather joined by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, headliner, and carpet. Driver amenities include power tilt steering, new Wonder Bar radio, 4-wheel power disc brakes and a cold blowing Vintage Air system. The leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel frames new Autometer gauges that consists of a 120-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer and gauges for fuel level and oil pressure. Auxiliary gauges sit on top of the dash that include water temperature, battery voltage and a boost gauge. The digital odometer shows 5k miles since the rebuild, although true mileage is unknown. If you are looking for a Tri-5, this example has the goodies to be a great driver.
